We are changing to a new system. This system will allow us to offer better e-mail protection.

Please follow the instructions below if you DO NOT HAVE A ROUTER.

Please follow instructions below if you DO NOT HAVE A ROUTER

  • Windows Vista & Windows 7
  1. Open the Connect to the Internet wizard by clicking the “Start button” -> Click “Control Panel” -> “Click Network and Internet”
  2. Click -> “Network and Sharing Center” -> Click “Set up a connection or network” -> Click “Connect to the Internet”
  3. On the “How do you want to connect?” page, Select “Broadband (PPPoE).
  4. Continue to follow the steps in the wizard.
  • Windows XP
  1. Go to “Start” -> “Control Panel”
  2. Click on “Network & Internet Connections”
  3. Click on “Network Connections”
  4. Click on “Create a new Connection”
  5. Click on “Next”
  6. Check off  “Connect to the Internet” -> Click “Next”
  7. Check off  “Set up my connection manually” -> Click “Next”
  8. Check off  “Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password” -> Click “Next”
  9. Type in your ISP’s name (Vortex Wireless) -> Click “Next”
  10. Enter your user ID as provided by your ISP.
  11. Enter your password as provided by your ISP, enter it a second time to confirm -> Check off “Use this account name” -> Check off  “Make this the default internet connection” -> Click  “Next”
  12. Check off  “Add a shortcut to this connection to your desktop” -> Click “Next”
  13. Click “Connect”
